EDUCATIONAL

Did you know? New York State Education Department Law Article 145 §7204-b impacts geological studies and investigations...

"As a result of changes to New York State Law, effective March 1, 2018, in order to conduct geologic services in New York State, a person or entity must be licensed to perform geological services. New York State's definition of 'geological services' includes many of the services needed to conduct Phase II Environmental Site Assessments."

“The result of these changes and the resulting case law is that only a licensed Geologist may perform geology services in New York State”
